Kentucky Power files amendments to its net metering tariff

December 23, 2019

ASHLAND, Ky. – Kentucky Power filed amendments to its Net Metering Tariff with the Public Service Commission on December 23, 2019.  The proposed amendments reflect the increase from 30 kW to 45 kW in the maximum rated capacity for net metering systems qualifying for net metering service as a result of the enactment of SB 100 (Net Metering Act).  No other terms of Kentucky Power’s existing net metering tariff are affected by the proposed amendments.

A copy of the amended tariff pages may be found at kentuckypower.com/rates/.

The proposed amended tariff will be applicable to service rendered on or after January 13, 2020, if approved by the Commission.
