Paperless billing has grown in popularity in recent years. Those who choose to receive electronic bills often find paperless billing a preferable method of paying their electric bills.
Paperless billing is convenient, safe and reliable and allows you to quickly view and analyze your bill from your phone, tablet or computer. You’ll receive a reminder when your bill is due and confirmation that we received your payment.
You can see up to 13 months of your billing and usage details online and you can print them if you need copies.
Not only does paperless billing save money, but also it is environmentally friendly. Switching from a paper bill to an electronic bill significantly reduces the impact to the environment. The switch can save trees, paper and water and reduces greenhouse gases, solid waste and wastewater.
A recent survey sponsored by the National Automated Clearing House Association asked 5,000 people about paperless billing. The results echoed customer interest in protecting the environment and showed that going paperless improved satisfaction. Psychologist Catherine Birndorf, co-author of the book The Nine Rooms of Happiness, says that’s because paperless billing reduces clutter at home and empowers customers.
