Jeffrey Newcomb

Vice President, Regulatory and Finance - Kentucky Power

Jeffrey Newcomb is vice president of regulatory and finance for Kentucky Power. In his role, Newcomb is responsible for leading all regulatory and financial strategy and activities, serving as Kentucky Power’s primary interface with AEP.

Newcomb is a 13-year regulated utility veteran and comes to Kentucky Power from Kentucky American Water. In 2011, Newcomb joined NiSource, Inc., the parent company of Columbia Gas and Northern Indiana Public Service Company (NIPSCO) and held a variety of accounting, financial and capital planning, and regulatory roles of increasing responsibility. Prior to NiSource, Newcomb worked as a tax accounting professional with Ernst & Young, LLP, in Chicago, specializing in domestic income tax compliance and tax accounting, serving mid to large publicly and privately held corporations and partnerships. Newcomb is a certified public accountant and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting and a Master of Business Administration from Indiana University.
